Little Eyes: An Expanded Discussion

September 18, 2020

Little Eyes by Samantha Schweblin is an excellent book about people and robots. It was the subject of my Science Robotics article but the implications for robotics are more than could be captured in a short focus article. This podcast goes into more details about how Little Eyes illustrates three concepts in robotics-- morphology, social robotics, and teleoperation— and how they come together to produce a complex, but believe, human-robot interaction scenario.
