Blue Blooded Robots Week

This week we explore what great robot detectives can tell us about real robots in law enforcement. Spoofs like The Automatic Detective by the delightful Alex Martinez (see the interview with him here) and Ray Electromatic are fun, but there are serious books as well. Scalzi’s Lock In and Head On books (reviewed here) present a FBI agent who works through a robot in a realistic 20-minutes-into-the-future scenario. The week will start with the grand-daddy of robot detective books: The Caves of Steel by Isaac Asimov.
